If you wanted a dumbed-down, let me fix Everything for your book, this is not it. This book forces you to actually think, and if you really read it, you will find it’s actually brilliant. People don’t want the Hard Stuff, they want Easy Breezy. I read some of the reviews, pfft, this book is so good I read it entirely in one sitting and plan to go back and study some more. (for me that’s amazing haha). This is my second HCG Round, and the first one worked (until I had dental surgery which screwed up everything), and bam… 12 months later, gained back 13 pounds. But now I feel empowered, with motivation to continue eating better after I lose those stubborn 15 pounds. The goal, Keep it off, and now I have a method that I feel confident with. And I never dieted or watched Anything I ate till in my 50’s. May not sound like a lot of weight to worry about, but I am small framed and felt horrible weighing over 140.
I was sold after I read it. I quickly jumped on board and have not looked back at the Original Protocol. The science and reasoning makes perfect sense to me. The charts are useful. I got the kindle edition and constantly reference those charts. I was able to hi-light important passages so that I can reference them later. Anyone who has tried the OP, I can tell you there is no need to feel deprived. With this protocol, you eat good and are less likely to cheat! The results as far as weight loss is the same. I am speaking from experience because I lost over 90 lbs on the Original Protocol years ago. Yes, it works. But I think this plan is more useful in the longterm by teaching you to track your intake and with few modifications, it can take you into phase 3 and beyond.
